Little. Brown

Iron Flame

When Little, Brown asked us to work with them on the midnight launch event for Rebecca Yarros’ ‘Iron Flame’, it was a no brainer for us.

With a captive, highly targeted audience in situ, the key was to offer a range of engaging mini experiences that leant into the theme of the book, immersing the launch event guests in the world of the novel's protagonist, Violet. With this in mind, we created 6 'stations', each offering an IRL experience as well as a QR code to bonus digital content hosted on a bespoke themed hub.

We tried to ensure each station offered something unique, from a lucky dip box letting people choose a specific ‘signet’ power, to a digital randomiser that allocated people in to ‘quadrants’. The cherry on top of the whole event- in our opinion at least - was the bespoke themed app (Instagram and TikTok) filter that we built to accompany the final station.
