19 Crimes 'The Cl(ink)'

EDNAEDNA were brought in by 19 Crimes and Lawless Studio to source and invade a space for their pop-up campaign, The Cl(ink); a flash tattoo event that saw 4 amazing tattoo artists reinterpret popular historical convict tattoo designs and dish their designs out for free to lucky customers that swung by the Shoreditch pop-up.

After locking in the Shoreditch based venue, we worked with the clients to imagine the space. We had to guarantee that it would first serve as a functioning tattoo studio and meet all necessary health and safety standards, whilst also ensuring that the space was fully on brand for 19 Crimes, and in keeping with the ‘clink’ theme.

We designed and kitted out the venue inside and out, hired and hand-made props, developed a floor plan and were on hand throughout the activation to project manage. We even snuck in a couple of free convict tattoos ourselves!
